I’ve Written for Top Career Blogs

I’ve been a guest contributor for top Career and HR blogs and, on occasion, am intrigued by human interest stories and write about them, too.  My undying curiosity about what motivates people to do the things they do serves as daily inspiration.

Career Perspectives

Work provides a great metaphor for life and I love to capture all the nuances of conversations, or interesting parallels provided by the various media, then combine those with the technical aspects of a job search. Simple, practical advice wrapped inside relatable scenarios tell the story.

“Interview Questions in a Post-COVID Pandemic World”

A guide to prepare for interview questions in three areas of: safety, remote work and the employer’s financial stability

“With well over 1,000,000 visitors a month in 2019, Job-Hunt is one of the most popular job search advice sites in the world according to Amazon’s Alexa.com website rankings based on site traffic. The site provides visitors with the best information about topics important for a short and successful job search. “

“Thrilled to be able to include your work on Job-Hunt.org. It’s one of my favorite resources.”

HR Perspectives

Intergenerational issues in the workplace are sources of great challenges and opportunities.  My writing covers current state, future trends and how HR plays a strategic role.

“Select Your Next HR Leader Based on These Six Senses”

How HR Leaders will be selected based on sense of self in addition to the other five senses.

“SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management, creates better workplaces where employers and employees thrive together. As the voice of all things work, workers and the workplace, SHRM is the foremost expert, convener and thought leader on issues impacting today’s evolving workplaces.”

People Perspectives

Interviews with interesting people take their own path and I follow where their words lead me.

“How to Lead a Consequential Life”

Lessons from a professional photographer who let the light shine in and discovered what really matters.

An Arianna Huffington publication, whose mission is to “go beyond raising awareness and create something real and tangible that would help individuals, companies and communities improve their well being and performance and unlock their greatest potential.”

And I’ve made a few guest appearances on local TV.
