About

I am a Career Coach who spent my professional career as an HR Executive with the good fortune of working in a variety of business sectors.  I’ve recruited for all types of positions in energy, software, tech services, not-for-profits, insurance, consulting, manufacturing and am now sharing the ins and outs of how to get to the head of the pack during the job hunt and stay there.

My personal awakening into the world of career management started when, quite unexpectedly, I became the casualty of a downsizing.  Since that moment, I vowed to future proof my career and set out on a personal mission to help friends and colleague do the same.

I’ve since taken my show on the road and am sharing perspectives as a Career Coach, HR professional, Recruiter and seasoned job seeker.

I believe the path to a great career starts with informed educational choices as a young adult, but the most successful employees are those who consider learning a lifelong pursuit.

My approach is to guide you through the technical hurdles, to show you the practical way of using tools and most importantly, to listen and serve as a sounding board.

I am also an author and writer, with regular contributions to career and HR websites which often reflect client’s experiences. Job seekers provide great examples of what it’s like to be “in the trenches” and I’m inspired by what they have to say.

Job search is a marathon, not a sprint.  I’ll help you get to the finish line faster.
